Corporate Sponsorship

While Best Buddies Australia talks a lot about the power of one to one friendships, we know that sometimes hanging out as a group is not only heaps of fun, but really important.

Each year, Best Buddies holds multiple group events both small and large.

Small events - Beyond the individual commitment we ask of our High Schools Buddy Pairs, we are each High School Chapter to hold 4 group events each year. This might by a movie night, a BBQ or a fund raiser for another charity. These are simple events, yet important as the provide support, the opportunity to meet other Buddies and have a little bit of fun.

Large events - Each Year Best Buddies likes to offer a few larger events to all the young people involved in our High Schools Program. Previously we have gone to dinner and then a movie, we have also organised a 10 pin bowling day. These events are generally held during the day and during the school holidays.

Leadership Conference - Every year, Best Buddies holds a Leadership Conference. We invite those young people within our organisation who hold a leadership position and bring them together for a day of workshops, and special presentations. It's a great way for us to only deliver some essential training, but a great opportunity to listen to their views and ideas for the year ahead. This event also offers a unique way for organisations to gain direct access to young leaders. Past years have seen Corporate supporters take a very active role, delivering workshops and providing Key Note Addresses.

There is currently no major sponsor for the Best Buddies Leadership Conference.

Best Buddies Day - This is our flagship event for the year and has been described as the most unique and rewarding opportunity to engage with a not-for-profit ever.

Best Buddies Day is our way of thanking all the young people involved in our program. We bring everyone together for a special event that is usually a surprise to the young people. Planning for the day starts months in advance and has critical goals of not only delivering a fun day, but one that will develop the young peoples skills in teamwork, communication, partnership and adaptive development.

For the corporate volunteers involved, it's a unique way to develop essential project management skills, communication capabilities and engage in their corporate responsibility opportunities.

The past 2 years this event has been sponsored by the Bank of New York Mellon and has delivered a wide range of outcomes for both organisations.

If you are interested in sponsoring a Best Buddies event, feel free to contact us and discuss what options are available.
